Maternity Pen 365/186

Faint of heart: Beware! These kids learned a lot today: gestation, bag of waters, blood. They learned it approximately 27 years earlier than their daddy. Kids live in such an idyllic world too. They were able to see the cow break her bag of waters and get up and walk around. We took a 10-minute walk and returned to see if the calf was born yet. If only labor were that quick!

Trio 365/182

Ok, If you know me at all you would know I have no problems with my ego. In fact, I am probably on the other side of the spectrum. I often have it where I brush my teeth and don't even look in the mirror. So, I guess for my first appearance on this blog this is the picture to "unveil". I'm covered up and off to the side :) Photographer: Kenna

A Praying 365/180

I wonder sometimes if Avery could get anymore precious and this picture answers that question. Yes! Is she praying? I haven't asked her yet but I don't think she'll remember.

Awaiting the puppet show 365/178

We went to San Jose for a quick trip before reality sets in and school begins. From there we made a day trip to Oakland to visit "Fairyland". Blake made several comments about Fairyland and his beloved Raiders sharing the same city. It was a fun place to visit. There were many things inside the park that would remind one of their favorite books. Here the kids are waiting for the puppet show to begin. It was based on the book "The Fisherman and His Wife". For all those men out there who believe they are "nagged" or "hounded" to death, they should really read this book. You might find your wife isn't so bad afterall.

Max 365/177 - #177- canine therapy

Maximillian Bonaparte Franklin Aloyisious for short. The girls took awhile to get my sense of humor. After about the 3rd or 4th time they said, "Mom, that sounds longer than Max".

Horse eating stroller 365/173

We went for a walk today (ok, let's just pretend I posted this when it actually happened), anyway, we went for a walk today and brought carrots along to feed the horses. Apparently, they had something a little larger in mind.

C sweating 365/172

If we lived in England, he would be saying, "It's bloody hot here!" Enough with the triple digits already.

A sucking thumb 365/171

This girl can suck her thumb with the best of them. She's kind of like a set of Ginzu knives, but instead of slicing and dicing, she sucks it on walks, she sucks it in the van, "yes ladies and gentlemen, she even sucks it while holding the other arm up."
