birthday cake

Carter had a very fun day. Daddy bought donuts for breakfast, he was able to lick the frosting during the cake decorating process, and we had a wonderful time at the park; we couldn't have ordered better weather. I believe his car/tractor/ball inventory just went up quite a bit.

It was a whirlwind of activity today. So much so that C-dawg and I hardly noticed their absence. Avery was pretty excited about preschool today. They all had a great day, Blake included.

At the base of Yosemite Falls was an icy "playland". We splashed around in it for quite some time. This time was also the turning point for Avery after being car sick for much of the ride and morning there. As you can see by the picture, Kenna really enjoyed dipping into the water. By the end of the two hours she was wet from head to toe. She was totally in her element. It reminded me of my time exploring the canal in the back of our dairy for hours and hours.

Sand Girls

Sand Girls

Last Thursday we went to the beach for one last hurrah. The girls wanted to be buried in the sand. C-dawg didn't want to have anything to do with it. He wouldn't even lay next to them to take a pic.
